I know $325 is not a lot of money to show in a blog income report. A lot of bloggers out there have blog income reports in the thousands!
But for me, this is super exciting! Probably the best $325 I’ve ever made. And my official first of hopefully many blog income reports.
I’ve wanted to have my own money-making blog FOREVER! And, while it has taken a lot of work to get to this point, I couldn’t be more thrilled.
Blogging is a fantastic side-hustle. It is a creative outlet, and a space to say what you want! But most exciting, it is a potential way to make extra income.
Many bloggers make so much money from blogging, they have been able to quit their day jobs!
Michelle Shredder-Gardner from Making Sense of Cents made $159,592 in November of 2018 as this income report shows! I love looking at monthly blog income reports like that. Successful bloggers make a lot of money online.
That is some serious dough! I’m nowhere close, but still pretty psyched about what I have accomplished on my start to make money blogging.

Here is my november blog income report:
$325 in affiliate income from BlueHost.
Around $4.00 from Media.net — not much! But, I’m mentioning this for those of you out there not making much, or anything yet from your blog. Celebrate the small victories and keep trudging!
If you haven’t signed with with Media.net yet, you should. They are the easiest program out there to get started with for new bloggers.
Even if you don’t yet have a lot of traffic, they will accept you into the program and placing their ads on your blog is easy. You can also sign up for Google AdSense when you are just starting out with your own blog.
And, here are some alternatives to Google AdSense. Of course, the goal for myself and most other bloggers is to make it into Media Vine’s ad program!
Affiliate marketing with companies like Blue Host is an awesome way to make passive income. To start this yourself, visit BlueHost.com and set up your own blog or website today.
You can also make money blogging from sponsored posts but I’m not there yet with my traffic and domain authority. A sponsored post is just a blog post a company pays you to publish on your site.

Yep, for now that is it! Pretty cheap to run a blog as an online business.
My Blogging Advice:
I know I’m not making much yet and my first personal finance blog income report is small, but for what it’s worth, here’s my two cents:
Start today. And take small steps and small goals.
It is overwhelming if you start out thinking of all the things you need to do in order to run a blog. So overwhelming that it can make you quit before you even try.
But 10 small steps = one big one.
Even if all you can do is 10 minutes a day, you will find the more small steps you take, the further you will get to real blogging income!
So just start your blog today and do what you can so you can be well on your way to a blog income report of your own!
