Why should I download a budget printable?

If you want to improve your financial life and future, keeping track of your money in a budget is the first step.

You can use the 50/30/20 budgeting rule to help guide everything. According to this guide to budgeting, you should spend 50% of your income on needs, 30% on wants, and 20% is how much you should save each month.

To make this process easy, you can download any of the budget worksheets below and get started today!

Want tips on how to build a better budget? Try these.

How do I use a printable budget template?

The nice thing about all the free budget worksheets out there is they make it easy for you to create and stick to your budget.

With pre-filled forms and even automatic calculations, you just input your numbers and voila, you have a budget!

Creating your budget involves writing down a few things:

  • Your income after taxes
  • Monthly bills
  • Food costs
  • Rent or mortgage payment
  • Entertainment expenditures

You just subtract the expenses from your income to see how much extra you have each month. Plus, keeping track of these line items in a budget form will help you see where you can reduce your expenses.

There may be a lot of money wasted each month that you aren’t aware of.
